Go for Broke: Japanese American Soldiers of WWII First Day Cover

Honor the thousands of Japanese Americans who served in World War II with this new Go for Broke: Japanese American Soldiers of WWII First Day Cover. The #6 ¾ envelope bears an affixed Forever® stamp cancelled with an official First Day of Issue postmark. 

Designed by Antonio Alcalá, the stamp is based on a photograph of a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. The stamp title is taken from the team’s motto, “Go for Broke.” The pictorial postmark features the stamp title, flanked with patriotic stars. Also included are the date and location of stamp issuance: June 3, 2021, Los Angeles, CA, 90052.
